Heidi Dragoo currently leads the Research and Planning Team at Mesa County Public Health. In this role, she is responsible for the agency’s data, strategy, and community initiative work. Heidi brings more than ten years of professional experience in public health and applied epidemiology at the state and local level.
Heidi was elected to the MRH Board of Directors in 2017. She earned a Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and an undergraduate degree in Communications from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Heidi is passionate about utilizing local data, strengthening relationships, and building cross-sector community partnerships to improve community health outcomes. Heidi enjoys spending her free time with her husband, David, and their dog, Remy. They enjoy adventuring and discovering all of the world class outdoor amenities the region has to offer, including hiking, biking, and skiing.
