Montrose Regional Health Chief Executive Officer Jeff Mengenhausen was recently featured on two national podcasts, the LeadUp Podcast and the Crackin’ Backs Podcast, to discuss leadership, resilience, and the lessons he carried from his Navy SEAL training into healthcare administration.

Montrose Regional Health will open its new Outpatient Infusion Clinic Nov. 5, 2025, located on the second floor of the original San Juan Cancer Center, 600 S. Fifth St.

Andrew Hersh, M.D., pulmonologist at Montrose Regional Health, has completed his 50th procedure using the Galaxy System, a robotic bronchoscopy platform developed by Noah Medical to improve the accuracy and efficiency of lung cancer detection.

Montrose Regional Health will host a free community presentation, “Regain Bladder and Bowel Control,” featuring Michael S. Tonzi, M.D., urologist and one of Colorado’s most experienced providers of Axonics Therapy.

The decision follows ongoing challenges that have affected both patient care and hospital operations, including long waits for authorizations, denials of medically necessary services, and significant delays in payment for care already provided.

Montrose Regional Health (MRH) will host a community open house at the new San Juan Cancer Center (SJCC), located at 816 S. Fifth St., on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
