We are having a party for the Grand Opening of our Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) – and you’re invited! Our Grand Opening will take place Thursday, April 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the ACC, located at 3330 S. Rio Grande Ave in Montrose. You are invited to learn more about the facility and we would love to see you there!
The completion of major construction at the ACC reminds me of how Montrose Regional Health has been fortunate to be ahead of the curve in respect to providing the latest care for our communities. From being the first hospital on the Western Slope to acquire the da Vinci robotic-assisted surgical system back in 2009 to our strong growth today that allows us to provide services you might expect in a big city, we have been afforded the opportunity to provide award-winning care with strategic investments and highly skilled caregivers. We truly feel our hospital is one of the things our communities can be proud of!
Here at MRH, we say we are “Proud to be Local” – because we don’t have to try to be like Denver, or like Grand Junction. We just have to be Montrose. We are doing things the way that fits Montrose and our surrounding communities. That’s one of the advantages of being an independent hospital: decisions are being made locally, and we continue to drive care forward in a way that fits our growing region’s unique needs.
That’s how our Ambulatory Care Center came about: after hearing feedback, we knew we needed a space for outpatient care that was convenient, increased access to care and helped lower healthcare costs. After much discussion and planning, we’re excited to finally share it with you! While some construction continues in certain areas – such as the Café on the first floor and the River Landing Surgery Center on the fourth floor – we are thrilled for you to visit the different areas of the facility and learn more about how our services there can serve you and your family!
In addition to the music and general celebration, we’ll be giving away “Proud to be Local” hats free to the first 200 people who visit our table at the Grand Opening. One thing we know about our community: we know you’re Proud to be Local, too!
