Montrose Regional Health is excited to announce that it has successfully completed its 1000th successful operation with the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery System.

Montrose Regional Health is continuing to grow with the community, announcing Montrose’s first gastroenterologist with the arrival of Dr. Michael Paolucci at Montrose Regional Health.

Montrose Regional Health has been recognized as a Best-in-Class Employer in Gallagher’s 2024 U.S. Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey. This award represents the second time the organization has received this distinction.

Montrose Regional Health and the local medical community recently participated in the 53rd annual Fall Clinics event at the Montrose Pavilion. At the event, awards were presented to three outstanding individuals for their contributions to local healthcare.

The cleanest hospitals are chosen based on the results of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) patient survey called HCAHPS - a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay.

The hospital ranked highly in patient experience, receiving a 5/5-star rating in categories such as staff responsiveness and hospital room cleanliness. The hospital also ranked particularly high in giving patients time at home, being very successful in enabling patients to safely live at home with minimal time spent in a hospital, ER or nursing home during recovery.

Montrose Regional Health would like to thank the Black Canyon Rotary Club and the Montrose High School Interact Club for the opportunity to work alongside them in supporting a noble cause and extending quality care beyond our borders.

Dr. Wood was able to complete this operation with the assistance of the Excelsius3D and ExcelsiusGPS Robotic Systems which use advanced imaging, navigation and robotic guidance to improve accuracy and optimize patient care in spine surgery.
